What is PEMF?
PEMF stands for Pulsed Electromagnetic Field therapy. It’s been around for more than 60 years and has thousands of peer reviewed studies that have proven its safety and efficacy.
It is a type of therapy that uses electromagnetic fields to improve health and well-being. The therapy involves the application of electromagnetic pulses or fields to the body to stimulate cells and tissues.
PEMF devices generate electromagnetic fields that can penetrate the body and interact with cells, nerves, and tissues. These fields are typically pulsed, meaning they are turned on and off in specific patterns and frequencies. Through PEMF therapy, our body is nurtured by these fields and our cells regain their positive charge.
The electromagnetic fields used in PEMF therapy can have various effects on the body, including:
Cellular stimulation: PEMF therapy is believed to enhance cellular function by promoting the exchange of ions and stimulating cellular metabolism. This can potentially improve the overall health and functioning of cells.
Pain relief: PEMF therapy has been used to help manage pain, particularly chronic pain conditions such as arthritis and fibromyalgia. The electromagnetic fields may help reduce inflammation, improve blood flow, and alleviate pain signals.
Bone healing: PEMF therapy has been studied for its potential benefits in promoting bone healing and fracture recovery. It may help increase calcium deposition and improve the formation of new bone tissue.
Stress reduction: Some people use PEMF therapy to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and improve sleep. The electromagnetic fields may have a calming effect on the nervous system.
PEMF therapy is administered through various devices, such as mats, pads, or specialized machines. Treatment duration and frequency can vary depending on the condition being targeted and the specific protocol recommended by a healthcare professional.
PEMF is one of the safest ways to give your cells extra energy to overcome health issues. NASA uses PEMF therapy to treat astronauts after their return to earth. In zero gravity, muscle tissue and bone density significantly reduces, as well as an increase in fatigue and depression once arriving home. NASA treats their astronauts with PEMF therapy to address these issues!
Our sessions include PEMF therapy. Whilst you’re in a deep state of relaxation, your cells are literally getting a recharge.
